If the child inside you feels a little spark of excitement at the mention of a little bunny named Peter, I think you should take a moment to collect yourself before continuing. With a Flourish is about to tickle you with some major nostalgia. Thirdie’s birthday gives us a good idea of what it’s like to have the playful Peter Rabbit at your birthday party, and it looks like lots of fun!
What we’re digging:
- I got hungrier and hungrier looking at each dessert. Cupcakes by Sonja makes each treat look better than the last! And doesn’t Peter Rabbit look especially dapper on top of this cake?
- The wall displays of photographs and open books are such a great, personal idea!
- From the illustrations popping out of the desserts, right down to the ever-present carrots, the attention to detailI creates a lovely embodiment of Peter Rabbit. And that’s coming from someone who may or may not have a set of Peter Rabbit figurines and teapots on her shelf…
- “Garden! Keep Out!” What a perfectly funny sign for a dessert table. In honor of Peter himself, we probably won’t listen, either!
