Here’s What I Would Be Doing If I Had a Mom’s Day Off For 24 Hours

Sometimes, I wish I could have a day off. You know, a day where I can just sit back, relax, and enjoy my glass of wine… Now that we’re talking about it, what would I be doing if I had spare time? Like twenty-four hours of alone time? Here’s my list. Hands up, if you want them too.

Here's What I Would Be Doing If I Had A Mom's Day Off Baby and Breakfast: Feels and Humor

1. I’d watch my favorite series the whole day

Don’t you miss the good ol’ days where you would watch FRIENDS all day, and just have a good laugh?

2. Go on a shopping spree

So if you gave me 20 hours of me time, I’d definitely spend some of those hours shopping. Watch out mall. Here I come!

3. Sing your heart out

Who says karaoke isn’t fun? Put up your playlist, and listen to your favorite 90s playlist! You’ll totally wanna sing along to your favorite hits from Boyz II Men or Backstreet Boys! You can even do it in the car while driving, then you can sing à la carpool karaoke style with matching hand gestures.

4. Drink wine and feel fine

Who says moms can’t have fun once in a while, right? By fun, I mean drinking a glass of wine while enjoying a relaxing time in your bed.

5. Have a Girls Night Out

When was the last time you hung out with your girls? If it seems like a decade ago, then you need to catch up with your #momsquad! Since you share the same struggles, it would be a great idea to have a quick getaway with those who understand you the most.

We work hard moms, and we all deserve a break. Don’t you agree? (AMEN!) So, if you get the chance, take a little breather and have some fun! At the end of the day, you need to be happy and fulfilled in order to spread love to your kids! So, here’s to more relaxing “me” time moments! Cheers!
