6 Ways to Add Exercise to Your Busy Schedule

Have you been struggling to exercise since the kids came? If yes, then we have the perfect article for you today! We know the #struggleisreal when it comes to finding motivation to exercise consistently. But, since working out is important for your health,  you must find time to prioritize it! So we’ve come up with some easy ways for you to squeeze in exercise back into your regular routine. Check the list below and be ready to start working out!

1. Take a quick morning walk, jog, or run.

Set your alarm just 15 to 30 minutes earlier than usual and hit the road. A morning walk is a good way to wake up the body and energize for the coming day. Plus, you get to catch the sunrise and enjoy the view!

2. If you’re not a morning person, walk in the afternoon with your dog!

Instead of leisurely strolling along, put on those rubber shoes and take the time to go brisk walking or jogging! I’m sure your furry friend will also appreciate the workout, as well.

3. Download an exercise app on your phone.

Working out at home is now so easy because of technology! Home workout apps contain exercise programs that you can easily do with limited space and minimal equipment. These exercise programs maximize the use of your body weight, so you won’t need to hit the gym or purchase machines. You just need, well, YOU!

4. Enroll in a fitness center that’s near your work place.

Having a convenient gym near your office will allow you to squeeze in a workout, so no more excuses! It’s also a good way to kill time during the city’s deadly rush hour traffic. Make good use of your time by working out instead of sitting in the car.

5. Workout with your spouse!

Working out together can be fun! It will be the perfect bonding activity since you can help each other reach your individual fitness goals. Plus, you get to enjoy the journey together, too!

6. Join a regular exercise group in your local community.

It’s common for colleagues to run together after office hours around Ayala Triangle, Bonifacio High Street, or McKinley Hill. In some villages, there are also homeowners that come together twice a week to play basketball or soccer. Being with people who are just as busy as you can be your source of inspiration for working out! It’s also a lot of fun and a good way to socialize and meet new people.

There you have it, folks! Getting back into shape can be a real struggle. But if you find a fun or convenient way to fit it into your existing schedule, you will definitely get back that bod sooner rather than later!
