3 Tips to Make Home Learning a Success!

1. Be Consistent

One of the most helpful things we can do for our children is to be consistent with our words and actions. With every grown-up’s schedule up in the air, children can find solace in knowing what to expect and when to expect it. If this means creating a routine and setting play expectations, do so and make sure to follow through!

2. Thoughtfully Choose Activities That’ll Boost Curiosity and Creativity

As a parent, you most likely know your child inside and out including their interests, fears, hesitations, and what sparks joy in their lives. Sometimes it takes just a little extra “thinking cap” time from parents to make playtime extra special. A surprise note, a carefully curated art kit, or a blanket fort already prepared can go a long way!

3. Have Fun!

Our children have fun when we’re having fun too! Keep in mind that they can spot a distracted parent from a mile away. So pack that phone away (even for 10 minutes) and give your child undivided attention even for a while. You’ll see how this will fill both your buckets to overflowing!
