Green Parks Around the Metro Where Your Kids Can Breathe and Play!

Got plans for the weekend? When you need to take the kids out to stretch their legs and exhaust some of their energy, wide, green spaces are the place to be. Luckily, there are a number of parks all over Metro Manila made for families to relax and enjoy open air activities–even the doggos are welcome! And we all know it’s also safer to be in less crowded areas with good ventilation nowadays. So, you might want to visit these parks for your next weekend out!

Ayala Triangle Gardens
Whenever you just want to take it easy, have a leisurely walk with the kids along Ayala Triangle Gardens. It’s a pocket of peace and quiet within the bustling Makati business district. Residents also come out to this park to meditate, practice yoga, or go for a weekend bike ride (bike racks are available for parking!).

Bonifacio Global City
You’ll find numerous parks right within Bonifacio Global City: Track 30th, Terra 28th, Kasalikasan Garden, Sundial Park, North Triangle Park, Burgos Circle Park, My Street High Street, Neo Park, and BGC Greenway. There are lots of options where the kids can play, and where the whole family can simply chill out, jog, or even dine in one of the al fresco spots available.

Circuit Makati
One of the unique features of Circuit Makati’s open space is the skate park. If you have older kids who have an interest in skateboarding, this is a great place to take them! Circuit Makati is also home to outdoor events, like live music concerts and food markets.

Filinvest City Central Park
For residents in the South, Central Park in Filinvest City can be your go-to playground. Have a picnic with kids, ride bikes, or even join a Zumba session. It’s also a venue for events like food bazaars, concerts, pet shows, and sports activities.

Salcedo Park
The Jaime C. Velasquez Park or the Salcedo Park was reopened to the public last year in November after a series of improvements. You can now enjoy a bigger open space, a jogging path, and a newly renovated playground. A trip to Salcedo Park can easily be part of your weekend habit!
